If you're a surfer (and haven't been living under a rock) you probably know by now that the surf has been pumping. Unfortunately, I have been out of town for much of this fiasco, but dedicated myself to waking up early this morning to paddle out for a few waves. Although these photos don't do adequate justice, it looked rather un-inviting; bumpy, awkward close out sets with the occasional makeable shoulder. The only three guys out drifted about 100 yards in the short time it took to snap a few photos. I opted for a quick photo shoot and an extra hour of sleep.
